In fact, he's in New Bark Town, by the little dock. Blueberry the Dragonair is trying to get his attention, but Neku is too busy: juggling luggage.]

So ever since I lost to Whitney I've been thinking. Hanging around Goldenrod all the time is making me stagnate. Maybe a change of scenery will- Berry, what?

[The Dragonair cries softly, bunting it's nose against one of the balls on his belt]

No, I can't let Lemon out right now. They only allow a few pokemon out and apparently the goo is one of those things that are against the rules. You're the one that wanted to see the sea.

Anyway. I'm heading to Kanto to train for a few weeks. If anyone needs... anyone needs me they can- Damn it, Berry!

[The long snake-like dragon, wanting comfort due to being away from her partner, has decided to try and crawl up Neku's shirt to hide, coiling around his luggage and torso, her beaded tail twapping him in the head over and over as she tries to get comfy]

I guess. You're going to encounter very weak Pokemon for quite a while when you first get to Pallet. If you plan on training against those, you're going to have a long way to go.

I guessed as much, so there's going to be a lot of traveling. Which isn't a BAD thing. Though I don't really have a ride-able pokemon.

[Honestly, Nagi wishes he were in Kanto himself. He knows the area like the back of his hand, or it feels like he would. He knows all the towns, gym leaders, pokemon...

Are you lacking something that can fly or can carry you on land?

My Smeargle can USE Fly but are really awkward about it. I bought a flying pokemon egg but it hasn't hatched yet.

As for land... well all of them are either bipedal or no...pedal.

[Well Neku always could try riding his cow...but he would get to where he was going sometime next year, maybe.]

...since you are going to be in Kanto, you are going to find wild Ponyta eventually. If you can catch one and evolve it, it will become a Rapidash that you can ride on.

Huh, I could always use another fire type too. Though that mane looks a little risky...

I'm actually not sure if that would be your biggest concern. If I remember correctly, the Pokedex mentions how their hooves are ten times harder than diamonds.

...and if you really aren't sure, you could always just ride your Miltank.

She can't. She can travel just fine walking, but it may take a while to get where you want to be. But I suppose if you don't have any other options, and you aren't confident in your abilities in raising a Ponyta...it could work.

I know. It may look...like it does, but there are few Pokemon with defense as high as Miltank has.

[So maybe it wasn't...completely a joke. Though mostly to get the overly affectionate cow out of his hair, figuratively and literally.]
