[Okay, that was.... different. The Post switches to Video, showing two of the new pokemon. Neku's Espurr's eyes are glowing- it's clear it was typing. A Noibat is screeching at him and jumping on the keys. No! That's not what the message is supposed to be!

She notices the camera is on and starts 'talking' to it in an enraged french accent]

He's dumb! Psychics are supposed to be smart but he's stupid! I want battles! And Neku won't find trainers!!! Cat can't type to ask either!!! MAKE YOUR TRAINER COME FIGHT ME NOW!!!

[She offers another vibrating scream and flies away, the camera now able to see Neku napping against a near by tree with his Litwick on his head. The ghost pokemon's flame is... rather large and Neku is drooling a little. Near by a newly evolved Persian is using Pay Day on Seviper while Eevee gathers the coins. What a lively bunch.

Well, except Neku of course. To those that can't speak pokemon this all is rather random, huh?]

We're in Goldenrod. According to Persian Neku's never left here! He has no drive, and it's boring. We just catch pokemon and give them to his trainers!

[OOF! That sure is an apple hitting the back of this Weavile's head and one huffy Pancham scowling at the screen.]

Aw, shut up, featherhead! Only a loser would go out and fight wild Pokémon.

[The Pancham gives a cocky smirk, while the Weavile groans and rolls his eyes.]

Don't listen to that freakshow. If your trainer's being a lamebrain, then show 'em who's boss! Make 'im go out and battle. Otherwise, I'd just ditch 'im.

She mashes a few more buttons until another Pokémon finally comes around. A Phantump to be precise. It bobs into view for a few seconds, looking at Kawa before turning its attention to the screen. Ever so carefully, it types something out. This time, it's legible.]

[Nagi is on his way to the Breeding Center, feeling...rather good about himself, all things considered. Anyone looking hard enough might notice that he has a badge pinned to the right strap of his bag, and it's likely been polished so much that it'll blind anyone who looks at it too hard. This is the Zephyr Badge: Nagi's first, and one that he's entirely too proud to have gotten.

Now that he, Schuldig, and Lancer aren't being mauled by lions, the next stop for a while plans to be Goldenrod. At the moment, Nagi's attention is on his Gear as he walks with his Pikachu on his shoulder as usual, his Vulpix trotting at his side with her nose in the air, and a pair of Espurr fighting for position on his other shoulder, both very eager to see their companions back at base.

So what Nagi doesn't notice- absorbed in his Gear as he is- is the sudden burst of light that issues from his backpack, a small Pokemon materializing a couple yards shy of her trainer. She blinks and grins when she notices Neku sleeping against the tree nearby, and promptly begins to toddle his way.

For good or for bad, there is a Pumpkaboo trundling that way, one that Nagi and his other Pokemon haven't yet noticed.]

Regardless. If you want your trainer to be more active, the first thing you should do is stop the young one over there from draining his soul. I imagine that doesn't help much.

[Munashi stops abruptly when she hears the noise, and the instant she spots Bell- no longer a Meowth but a fully evolved Persian- her hackles raise and her ears pin back, the faint scar across her muzzle flaring in a phantom pain.

Isogu's ears flick and he looks over when he hears Munashi growl in the back of her throat, and while he can instantly tell what's going on here, he also knows that Munashi is going to blow this out of proportions just because she's angry that she didn't evolve first.

And boy, she does.]

Vul! VulPIX!

You! What on Earth are you doing!?

[Her yipping gets Nagi's attention and he turns on his heel to see what all the fuss is about, and is presented with the sight of the Pumpkaboo bouncing in place near Bell's paws with Munashi all out of sorts and growling at her.

Munashi snarls, baring her fangs at Bell as smoke starts to trail from the gaps in her teeth.]

That's absurd! She was in her pokeball this entire time!!

[Of course, this little baby has gotten a bad habit of breaking out of her ball and exploring at the most inopportune times...like right now.

And honestly, strangely enough, Nagi doesn't even look mad. He looks more alarmed than anything, his Gear still tight in one hand as he watches the Pumpkaboo happily sit between Bell's paws, nuzzling her head against the fur on her neck.]

[It's hard to tell what with how deep its voice is, but the Metagross might just be being facetious there.]

Nagi stiffens and his gaze flicks up to Neku when he finally makes his way over. His voice tense, not at all carrying it's usual air of feigned certainty, perhaps.]

What is going on here?

[The Espurrs on Nagi's shoulder look around with their eyes unblinking, meanwhile, trying to assess the situation for themselves.]
